I am tatyana gray, a graphic designer and conceptual photographer, who resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design and Studio Photography from the University of Indianapolis in May of 2021.

At the height of my creating, I was in a state of contradiction. Constantly wearing the mindset of not knowing who I was, but knowing where I was blurred the lines of my reality. So, by designing and photographing, I aimed for quality and purpose. My work continues to tell a story about where I was or who I was; no matter the subject— I am a mere replication of them.

Over time I have recognized that my images possess a nature of duality. I want my work to act as the line of communication, where I and the viewer intentionally connect the missing pieces that weren’t yet spoken or shown. As you take the time to view my work, I hope you begin to see how they stem from relation, not distance and disconnection. After all, I aim to design and photograph with a human centered mind.
